Don't Unblock Winlogon!!!

This day started not to funny for me.I turned up the pc, made the morning coffee, had a shower and came here. I saw that the PC is restarting after logging in windows. "WTF" i said. So i checked out everything, and it looked ok, no overheating. I got a Live Linux CD from Paul7, and it worked fine, so the HW was ok, the problem was with the windows, and yes, it was a virus, and of course my bad turn, because yesterday i got a message from firewall. It was about some winlogon.exe file, and i unblocked it, and that was a mistake. I made a system restore and it's working fine. If you get this shit don't unblock it!!!

Same thing happened to me but I use Windows 2000.

Winlogon.exe is a windows file and not a virus btw.

yeah it was winlogon or winlogon.exe, and my system is clean, so it was a virus, spyware or trojan.

In other cases, winlogon.exe is a virus, spyware, trojan or worm!

winlogon.exe is a system file, however the sneaky buggers also named the virus process that too!

This is nothing to do with anti virus, because the firewall asked me about this winlogon, and i unblocked it, and it was a mistake.
