was too damn hot yesterday

was so hot here yesterday it felt like being in a sauna.
the humidex ( temperature with the humidity factored in) was 48C setting a new record.
cooler than my home city Carman where it hit 53C breaking the all time canadian record of 51.2 set by Windsor Ont back in 1953 now that is too damn hot.

of course with the high temps there was bound to be a thunderstorm
that knocked out the power to alot of places and knocked down a bunch of trees, none where I live though
I did get caught out in the super downpour that soaked me completely in seconds.
was fun walking in it after the hot days.

ya 32C is hot ScreaM, this was extreme heat for us here in Winterpeg.
but most of us are used to the wild changes in temp
from -40+C to +40C+, I hate it and I don't really like the city cause of the high violent crime level but I love its cheap cost of living.

today is forcasted only 27C but forcast for next week is more of the same high temps as this week.
I will melt

I would rather have the rain
living inside a freezer for more 6 months a year is a bitch.
at least with rain one can go out with out 6 layers of clothes

thats humidex not the actual temp in Celcius

53 Celcius regular temp is almost impossible, although (googled) 58 happened in 1922 once
