Much as I hate to burst Jenna's bubble, the chances of Scarlett Johansson playing her in this biopic are pretty much less than zero.

Okay so Jenna is as "mainstream" as a pornstar can get. But she's still a pornstar. An in your face hardcore bisexual pornstar who is famous for having lots of sex with lots of women and a few men on video.

The chances of getting any name "mainstream" actress, even Jessica Simpson, let alone someone like Johansson, to play this role are limited to say the least.

Yes, some actresses will take on very sexual roles, and do just great with them. But playing a pornstar is pretty much unchartered territory. It's worth remembering that playing a stripper virtually ruined Demi Moore's career. And she was the best paid female star in Hollywood at the time.

If this biopic is ever going to get made then Jenna's people need to get real. For a start they should drop all that stupid "You'll win an Oscar" bullshit.

They need to get a casting director who has a clue what she/he is doing. And they need a great scriptwriter with a good track record for "Heartbreaker" to rescue this project from disaster. And I suspect they don't have one yet. They also need a credible director in the frame.

IMHO Finding a good actress for this movie is a tough job for a real expert. Playing Jenna Jameson in a biopic is a very risky, as well as risqué, project for any actress to undertake. It could end a career - or it might make a career.

I think Kristanna Loken would quite likely turn the role down. But at least she is a possibility. And the strong bisexual element of the role won't bother her, or her agent, in the least.

I don't envy the casting director's job one bit. But I'm happy to try and make some realistic suggestions. And Scarlett Johansson was never a realistic possibility.

Streep must be getting ready to retire. She is doing a lot of 'less meaty' films now but that could also be because there are a lot less roles for older women.

Hmm come to think of it thats true. Shes not the type of women who does funny roles imho so that was kinda weird.

Not many because the roles aren't there..I am sure they are written but they aren't produced. There are some amazing older actresses that you barely see anymore. Off the top of my head I can think of Streep and then Susan Sarandon, Angelica Houston and Kathy Bates just to name three. Kathy Bates shows up on tv more now (was fun in 6 ft Under) and other older actresses like Sally Field and even Geena Davis have all gone to tv.

At least Helen Mirren is still carrying the flag for older women that can actually act.

Get real guys. Scarlett ain't ever gonna play the part of Jenna. Be realistic and look for someone who will.

I personally don't think it matters if the actress who ends up playing the role IS bi or straight or lesbian or whatever - it's called ACTING.. there are many straight actresses who are in movies where they're supposed to be lesbians or whatever..... it's pretty irrelevant. I think the important thing is that the actress playing should be comfortable doing whatever sort of things the directors want her to do with another girl.

Wild Things... the movie - lots of bi fun in that..... noone qtned those actresses.

Of course it's ACTING, so maybe it shouldn't really matter what the actress's sexual orientation is. However I wasn't saying it should be a openly bisexual actress just because it's a bisexual role.

There are 2 reasons why I think a bi actress would be a good idea.

First is Jenna Jameson has a strong fan following in the LGBT community - she even has gay male fans. So a bisexual actress getting the role would probably be seen as pretty cool by a lot of her fans.

Secondly, when straight actresses take on lesbian or bisexual roles, especially ones that are pretty sexually explicit, as this one is bound to be, very often lots of gossip about their sexuality starts circulating, and they can also get a lot of queer girls pursuing them.

For example Gina Gershon is straight, and she has played a number of lesbian and bisexual roles, in fact that's what she's become best known for. When asked in an interview with a national newspaper if she was gay (even though she was living quite openly with a man at the time) she said: "I kinda wish I could be a lesbian. So many girls come up to me all the time, I keep thinking, 'God, I should be a lesbian.' But unfortunately, I'm straight."

Some actresses would just take all that in their stride of course, other's might not.

For anyone who isn't already aware, Jenna Jameson is bisexual in her private life & not just in her work as a porn star. She has had numerous affairs with men and women, and says she has slept with 100 women and 30 men off-screen in her life. She has also stated the best relationship she ever had was her lesbian love affair with porn actress Nikki Tyler, which she documents in her autobiography.

She was raped and gang raped when she was a teenager, and had a serious cocaine addiction for about four years. Also, using a fake ID, she started working as a stripper when she was below legal age. And of course as I said before Jenna is a Porn Star.

So if the movie is going to be anything like the book, this sounds like a very challenging role for any actress to consider.

You know, it could be one helluva movie in the right hands. Wonder if they have approached Miloš Forman to direct?
