Accounting software
Did any of you guys ever use any accounting software? I'd like something that is easy to use please.

If your friend biz is located in India he/she should use an indian software as accountancy is not the same in every part of the world.
And from my experience you probably won't find a good one for free...

I see, thanks. Yeah, we use Tally here. It's the standard for accounting but was looking for alternatives.

I wasn't looking for a freebie btw.

what about excel / openoffice (the latter being free). spreadsheets, but can be used for basic accounting.

I would go with quickbooks by intuit.
