Its always good to keep your personal life/non work time ... and work as separate as possible, especially in this industry where we have such a large number of socially inept and 'oddball' people.

Just like you should forget your personal issues and offline problems when you turn on the pc to work..... you should forget all work problems and online issues when you turn the pc off Too many people carry their personal issues and attitudes over to their work and I think thats what you are seeing on Netpond recently. Don't take it personally .... if it wasn't you they would probably have found someone else to attack.

I tried to stay out of most of the tutorials, even though I strongly disagreed with them.

You came across as "my fucking way is the only fucking way so fuck you fucker".

I don't agree with what you teach newbies which is to get everything for free, click a few buttons and set it and forget it and move on. They need to learn about their niche, their target audience, their traffic, the sponsor, etc. The idea is long-term money making.

Again, how much time did you lose when you had to replace all those links when your sponsor feed went down?

A break is a very good idea.
