Am Off For awhile... Call it a personal timeout
Seems my ideas are not accepted here, so I am giving myself a timeout from here, I will still lurk around and read but as for posting am giving myself a timeout for a few days or weeks depending on my mood....
TO those of you that asked for help you got my ICQ and you can PM me here, I will reply, I will still lurk about but this isnt the place for me right now... Maybe that would be a good idea. You seem to get really fired up over things that you shouldnt be so fired up about. If someone doesnt accept your ways then thats fine and if they opinionate about them that is fine too, just ignore them. Would be nice if you did not throw Disabled Veteran into the mix of all this because it only makes the rest look badly. Altho you fought for your right to speak your mind and express your views, not all Disabled Veterans blame everyone else for having a bad day.

Hey I may do like Max did and fall off the face of netpond, and I now fully understand why he left posting here as well..... trust me these people will never get my goat.... I may lose my temper a little but hey am human, shit I wuit smoking during all this have not had one in two full days now... See they say I have no experience because instead of telling people how to sign up at a hosting company, and buying a domain name to try my idea on I used a freehosting service that came out... Twan got twisted because I wasnt pushing his stuff, what I find so damn funny is what the hell does RSS2ANywhere do, it does the same damn thing as autoblog, ALSO how about his statement that a frehost can go under anyday and point all traffic through 301, bu yet in the next breath he says use thumblogger which I belive is a freehost that could do the same as any other free host and go under.... The reason am getting so much flack over this is very simple, I stepped on alot of toes and pocketbooks, instead of looking at my stuff with an open mind.... some people say my tutorial is so flawed but yet get things that they now use on their BLOGS..... hey trust me this aint shit, lets get real guns and start firing at each other like the boys I ride for do on a daily bases..... splogging on your own domain is not the same as splogging on hosted blogs. With free hosted splogging you are working in a much more confined space so you need to target your spog that much more to get the best results.
i have been using free hosted splogs for at least a year and a half now and i know that i came into it very late and i also know that every man and his dog is also splogging so i really dont think you are treading on anyones toes as everyone aleady has bruised toes in splogging. |

I know you set out with good intentions digits. But if you're not sure what you're doing and your methods aren't tried and tested then you shouldn't be writing tutorials.

Digits.... big thumbs up for trying to help out and doing a tutorial. I actually read your suggestions and you were a lot closer to the mark than most people are giving you credit for. With a couple of tiny alterations you have a winning formula for big profit.
As for people having an issue with you ... ignore them. Once you start being successful on any board people will try and pull you down. The pond is in the unfortunate position of having too many advanced newbies who are all starting to develop strong opinions and attitudes. This will cause conflict as they all compete for elbow room at the dinner table My advice is enjoy your break from posting, but don't just take flee the board because of a little conflict. Ignore the attacks and focus on the positive |

I wasnt going to post but I got to say thank you LB I needed that.... I will never be far from here, shoot I am not even a membenywhere else.... A lot of it is personal problems for me.. I was never going to tell anyone what I was doing and just do it, then things came up where I need to go help my mother with my stepfather who barely remembers who I am, I will be watching him die he has reached the end of his life, and all my mother wants is for him to enjoy it while he can an I will do my best.... then I mother who lost her son in the war in Iraq on mothers day heard I would be close to her and ask for me to stoy she isnt dealing with it well, then I tried of all things quiting smoking, which I did well for almost 2 and a half days.... then I felt attacked for what I thought was trying to help... so it just felt like being in a hole and all sides were caing in on me.... So to get out of myself, something I learned from AA and the families I have meet along my ride honoring the fallen soliders I tried to do the tutorial, bad timing,
LB really appreciate the kind words, not sure what you speak of about the little tweaks, but I will ask in a PM when I gt back online, tomorrow I will pack the bike up thursday I will leave florida for south carolina and spend the night with the family tat lost their son, who was a brother and father as well... frida I will head to north carolina to meet a few people that have asked me to stop in NC for the weekend for a run for cancer, en moday it will be a 600 mile ride to new jersey rain or shine, by then I will have a clear head and will be better able to deal with all that is on my plate.... I will avoid posting until late next week or maybe even the week after as this will be a big adjustment not just for me but for my stepfather as well, but wifriends I made here, my programs, and the support of my family I will adjust to it all some how.... LB you are one of the people I always looked up to here, and still do, thank you for the kind words, as for anyone else I do not takeanything personal, this is business, and I always try to keep the two separate..... In Memory Of Their Service digits..... everyone have a enjoyable weekend hopefully, there wil not be much rain along the east coast while I make the 1400 mile ride north.... |
