Had a huge amount of spammers rergister on my mainstream forum, a while back. The handles are usually, not always, but were usually just jibberish - random keys - & the email weere mostly fake. But the IP's, well I did block a couple, but it didn't seem to make a difference. Damn spammers are so frustrating.

Most spammers got dynamic IP's (seems proxies get out of fashion) so blocking them means blocking potential revenue as well.

The best anti-spam method is still... moderating.
