Thumblogger blogs taking a hit from google?
Has anyone else found their thumblogger blogs loosing a lot of rankings in google over the last few days? some of mine have dropped rather badly

I dont have any thumblogger blogs myself, but for the search results that I monitor, I have been seeing thumblogger blogs ranked in the top ten as of a few hours ago.

Strange but today I was peaking at some stats and noticed one tb blog-splog I had which was getting like 30 google hits daily was getting only 5-10 last days. Maybe just coincidence

They are,.. I have some for experimentation and yes they have dropped in google listings recently.

Google is likely updating their search results, sites sometimes go up and down for no apparently reason. But i guess the blogs that now go down a bit are all rss feeded blogs, that likely see the effect of a content filter, you can read all about it on:
http://www.netpond.com/showthread.php?t=117099 . But that is just a guess, maybe it is just bad luck for a few of you. At previous updates sites went up and down while the update was ongoing, so i would suggest wait a few weeks until the update is completed. __________________

i guess twan is right with his guess. as long as i see search results like this one http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=big+black+ass where google obviously looks at a thumblogger blog as the authority site for this term, i don't believe that thumblogger blogs are getting hit in general.

It's been a long time since I checked any traffic-stats but this thread reminded me to do so.
Some of my thumblogs are doing better than fine for sure. only a few of those that haven't been updated in ages are losing a bit. __________________
