Youtube at the top of Google SERPs
I haven't noticed this before. I've just done a search on "drunk dykes" for a new domain name that I've registered, and I get 2 youtube video links at the top of the page. Is this the way that porn results will appear in the future? I guess my prediction that Google will become the biggest tgp is going to arrive sooner than I expected.

yeah sooner or later they would have done that.. they are still buying some of the most famous sites in different areas, and they will be putting them as spotlight results for searches..

Since few months ago if I remember correctly, Google stated that they'll display within their SERPs any document they think is relevant for the search performed, no matter it is a regular html page, a video file, a .pdf or other formats. Anything that can be indexed can also be displayed within the SERPs if found relevant.
I've also noticed more and more youtube URLs in the SERPs for quite a lot porn terms ranking pretty good. |

Welcome to universal search. Now that YouTube and Wikipedia are each taking a spot or two on every damn term I want to rank for, I'm now left fighting for one of the 6 - 8 spots available on page one in Google instead of 10. *sigh*

wikipedia pisses me off. there is so much opinion and misinformation there, and people seem to think it's the truth rather than net opinion.
