Its been down for over 18 hrs now and i have lost quite bit of $$$.

If the phone is disconnected too maybe its a very serious problem? I have everything backed up on my comp anyway, I will give them until later today to notfiy whats going on before I up and move as I cant wait any longer, and if its down for over 24 hours with no comment or anything then I will assume its serious and I should move anyway.

Ive never really had problems with Lelahosting having downtime so I am surprised people are dissing them a lot, been with them for years and can count on one hand the amount of downtime I have had which was their fault.

Nothing this serious tho and 18 hours+ with the phone not even working tells me something serious has happened, a recent host a friend was with had their building burned down.

Why wouldnt the phone work tho? Unles its weather or something? Something bad has happened I think, tho, but I cant sit around and wait too long to find out, Im losing my income here.

Not really - they've been a good and inexpensive host for a few years now. I don't understand what has happened though, and I got worried because the servers seemed to be going down in sequence rather than all at once.

It would be nice to have a comment - the lack of an explanation is the worst thing.

I have had my fair share of downtime so I know the feeling.... You would think that they would at least make an announcement, I would start to worry soon that maybe 'gone under' starts to be a possibility, why is their phone down?

I've had accounts with Lela for over 2 years and in general the experience was pretty decent till now. It's been over 24 hours since my (and their) site went down. Emails bounce back. Server errors everywhere.

Whatever the situation is, it doesn't look good. No warning whatsoever that their system is going down and still not fixed over a day later... Combine that with the complaints I've seen about their not answering ICQ and their phone being disconnected... They may very well be down for the count. They may NOT be but considering there's no apparent way to get a hold of them or for them to contact their customer base, we're sort of left to assume.

Bah. I'm glad I started keeping double local backups of my website years n years back.
