Samples of what a good tour is...
Before I finish up the new tour campaign I'd appreciate some links to what you guys feel is the right way to do a tour.
I had been doing the old school way and had like a dozen pages of tour. I went and looked at the high converting sites and noticed they didn't have anywhere near as much in their tours that I had. I noticed the average tour was just a front page and maybe a page or two before the signup page. My main site covers about a dozen niches so I have to showcase each one and I've more than enough so I'd like to see what the successful formula is nowadays. __________________

I like the simple 3 page tour with big pictures of the content inside and then when you click to play a sample the video plays in a join page.
Its simple and to the point. Some tours today are so rich in flash, colors, graphics and everything else that you don't what the hell you were doing there in the first place. |

I like the KISS principle, myself. (Keep It Simple, Stupid.) If you want to cover different niches you can use different tours and still keep the number of pages on individual tours down.

Bad Wolf, this is a compliment but you look like Wolverine in his civvies with that hat and sideburns and stogie in your mouth.
I agree, simple is best. My first tour was front page with toon display to join page with toon display and explanation. How I got into the elaborate shit I got into I dunno. __________________
