I shot a new model recently... I felt it was a great photo/video shoot and I sent her a letter of thanks and told her how awesome she was, I was down to throw more work her way, blah, blah. She had stated how refreshing it was to work with someone as professional and courteous as me during the shoot... Well with the promo shots I have sent her, ...and she has posted them, I have not gotten a response at all, not a thank you, nada, nothing... I think that is extremely rude! So now, no additional work, no ongoing, anything... Fuck her, she's done. To be honest, my feelings are a little hurt. I took time out to get her these promo images of the shoot to put on her portfolio and nada. This is why I run around with very few girls in the Biz, I suppose, because most are self centered, dead inside and selfish, and they wonder why they are alone and have few friends. Maybe I should just stop being so nice and getting my feelings hurt and turn into the typical asshole producer.....

I won't do it of course, but people are RUDE sometimes.

oh dear. please fix your sig - netpond.com/faq.php - or it'll be fixed for you soon. secondly, you now refuse to work with a model because she didn't meet some expectation you have? she's a model, not a gentleman. maybe she sent you an email and it got lost, maybe she tried to call you but couldn't get through, maybe she's swamped wiht work? who knows. she said she's glad to work with someone like you, you said she's fine? so, what's the problem?

hmm, ok i can do 3 sig's. I have my own way of doing things. If I spend an hour editing images after a shoot, I don't think some sort of acknowledgment or response is out of order.
I have 3 myspace pages, 4 adult sites, fuck, you can even google my name, I am not that hard to get ahold of. You can always tell a person by the interactions they have with others. And I am just a little dissapointed. Your right, I have my shoot, got what I paid for, but I am all about conducive relationships with people, esp in this Biz, where it is networking intensive.

Well for what it's worth, I do understnad. I tend to take things very personally, even though I know I shouldn't. But there could be a number of explanations like mojoman said, maybe she has a a good reason. Or maybe not. Either way, you just try to forget it, it doens't help getting all worked up & there's nothing you can do about it.
