UK folks (not sure if they do it anywhere else) I hope you are buying your poppies this year!

Armistice is nearly upon us, personally I buy a poppy from every vendor I see, and I wear 1 with pride.

Remember the brave folks who fought for our freedom so that we could fuck it up and give it all away to foreigners!

We wear poppies too here in Canada, my son's school has a "poppy drive" so we give our business to him.

I wear mine proudly here in Canada. My great-grandfather gave his life so that I can live peacefully now and so did millions of other people. The least we can do is show some respect to those who sacrificed everything and asked for nothing in return!

I feel funny about it, I support to people that went out and protected us, but basically i'm a pacifist and don't believe in it. Mostly i'm uncomfortable because my dad was on the wrong side. He was a Nazi for real, He was a nice guy I hear before the war, after the war he was an asshole.
