How many blogs did you need to make your first sale? and how often did you update it in a day?

For me it was one blog (my first) and the sale was Met Art after slapping up one image linked to a gallery - the blog was not a babe blog more of a everything and nothing blog - this was a few years ago now...

I was inspired by Coolios Babes - I've been posting over at http://coolios.net for many many years

The great man (and friend) gave me a lot of hints and tips back then - as for updating I did it daily then...

I do that still with a new blog and drop to 2 or 3 per week with some and longer with others if they are making good sales

Why do you ask?

There are 3 types of bloggers:

Quality over Quantity
These are the bloggers that create a small number of blogs and nurture them until they are consistently generating income. A lot of TLC generally goes into these blogs.
(Example: Build 2 blogs up until they earn 5 sales each. - 10 sales.)
Quantity over Quality
These are the bloggers who mass produce blogs. More often than not, these are build and forget type blogs, updating with RSS feeds.
(Example: Build 10 blogs, generating 1 sale each. - 10 sales)
Combination of the 2
These are the bloggers who will sometimes mix the two blogging strategies together depending on what they will use the blogs for.

All you have to do is figure out what strategy appeals to you, build your blog(s), and run with it. Each method has their pros and cons. There is no right or wrong. Figure out the purpose of your blog(s) and create them accordingly. How others earned their first blog sale is irrelevant.

Focus on building 1 blog then go from there. You won't have a chance of earning a dime from blogging if you have 0 blogs live.

I think i will go "Quality over Quantity" in next period, using only 2 sponsors for posts and maybe few in side bars, but i want to concentrate traffic in small place.

You know that blogs are made that way surfers can find them. If you have visitors to your first blog, it meens that you need at least 1 blog to make a sale

I'd say get as many running as possible. The more you have, the better chances you have of making a sale. But make sure you pay at least some attention to each and every one. Don't just half ass one and leave it at that

I made sale with my first blog and it was with RSS and with no design at all!!! And NO... It's not the quality, it's the quantify

I have a number of blogs now lol - however there's one that makes great sales and it's kind of quantity AND quality...

I have a lot of different sponsors on there all in the similar niche (arty babes) and rather than just using them in posts I have built the blog outwards making a different page for each sponsor - the page is like a mini tgp - as in 4 to 6 thumbs a couple of banners and some tight text...

So for me quantity is not just the amount of posts or sponsors - but constantly building the blog outwards using the page function
