A way to check Server specs...
Is there a program or script that one can use to check a dedicated server to see if it is up to the specs that you are paying for? Such as memory, single or dual processors, that kind of thing.
Also would like to know if there is a way to check that my domains are the only domains on the server as well. |

the: dmesg
command shows the log from the OS startup routine and it shows everything you need, from motherboard info to cpu, ram, hdd and all rest things detected..ofcourse you need ssh root access to run that command, or just read /var/log/dmesg at the top.. __________________

Thanks everyone. I asked for DirectAdmin, so will see. Will also get SSH access as well. I've had some experience with that, mostly moving files from server to server. Good to know that I can access that info.
By the way, Kaktusan, I'm finally going to use that update script you made for me a while back! Sometimes this business is like dropping ball bearings into honey. |
