Why does a sponsor open 3 new same niche sites?

Received opinion seems to be that composite sites with member interaction and other extras are best for retention, and for the industry. What's the advantage of splitting that site into 3, and probably including some content duplication?

I think a lot of surfers would never catch on that there were three tours leading to the same site. Unless they joined them all and realized what had happened, they'd never see the duplicate content. However, with a lot of companies giving the surfer access to every site in their network, suddenly they are giving the surfer the ability to see how much of their content is exclusive to each site, and how much is shared across the network.

Because all three will get signups for their affiliates and that is a good thing? Some affiliates will promote all three but others will find one works better for them and focus on that. It is, to use an American phrase, about covering your bases. One site might just be better for an affiliate for any number of reasons. For one thing, they may be the same niche but even just having different names can help for targetting different keywords an terms...melons,tits,movies,vids...same niche but different searches.

As far as a happy porn buyer? Why should they be unhappy? They don't need to know that the site they are joining is owned by a company that also owns two other sites in the same niche. As long as the sites give what the tour says why should the existance of other sites upset them?

The more sites within the same niche a sponsor has, makes it easier to get to payout!

I do not bother much with big programs with only one good site in a specific niche.... that's the reason I love NicheCastle with 5 shemale sites.......

So how does it put more money in my pocket?

I'm not going to make a second sale to the same surfer because he would buy that from the members area, or he may have a free bonus access with his first membership. I run the risk of him signing up for an alternative site if he get switched withour a ref code, or if he return later. I don't get the benefit of rebills from a big site that is updating constantly. There are a few other things I can think of as well.

Btw - this is a general question rather than one about a specific sponsor.

probably yes. However some (many?) sponsors give away membership to all sites when you join one

Niche castle is a good example because they have multiple sites in same niche with differet content and thier rebills are absolutly insane

as far as i know membership to one site giving access to other sites member areas after member loged in. we also have this at our sites.

It's fairly short sighted and small minded of some of these larger companies to do this - the multiple doors/sites, leading to the same content.
They will make sales and make affiliates happy for a while but they will also piss surfers off, who especially within niches, know about the content and if they've seen it before. So when the site gets stale, they will just repackage it and milk it for more.

It's not good for the industry long term as consumers will look for less risky ways of parting with their cash to get fresh content which is why companies like Nichecastle and Groobybucks (our program) only show our own exclusive content and if repacked into an archive site, we make it very clear what that site is.

Honestly and integrity with the consumer is very important.
