They may be entertaining, but I've learnt quite a bit about sponsor and affiliate attitudes and methods from the replies. The adult business has changed a lot over the last year, and next year promises to be even more challenging.

Paul's antics do inspire more posting.......which is good for Netpond. That's about the only positive thing I can think of regarding his presence here.

It's the things that creep into the replies that are interesting. It's made me look at sponsors, their tours, and their attitudes to affiliates in a new light. I didn't realise that the switch from running paysites to creating traffic harvesters was so far advanced in some sponsor programmes. There are also some sneaky affiliate tricks to watch out for.

Well, you better hope he doesn't think you're doing something wrong because he's already shown he'll ban you from his program without cause and accuse you of being a scammer without proof. It has nothing to do with liking him or not, he doesn't have the knowledge or experience to run a sponsor program and worse than that, he doesn't have the humility to admit when he's wrong.

But I'm glad your ratios with him are nice.

Well if he sells to your surfers, then you'd be mad not to promote him. He's in a teen sub-niche that doesn't appeal to me, and that's probably the main reason I never got round to joining his programme. Some of his posts put me off as well. I don't like the idea of disadvantaging revshare affiliates to increase the pps payments, but then quite a few sponsors seem to be moving towards this at the moment.
