Do you give presents at Christmas?

Now that I'm older, I'm finding I'm pretty sick of the whole gift giving thing at Christmas. I don't want to hand out a tonne of presents and receive a tonne back, and really not care what I got.

I think it would mean so much more if someone just made me something, or gave me a tiny little present that had meaning behind it.

I wish I could change Christmas!

Just for my son who's 21 going on 51 364 days of the year - a week or two before Xmas he becomes a five year old

Oh yeah and the local dog shelter gets a case of meat and a sack of biscuits...

Only for my parents and sister. We're usually around 10-12 people together on Christmas eve (well, actually that's probably closer to 15 or 16 these days with assorted children arriving in the last 4-8 years or so - I can't really keep track of it

), but I think we officially dropped the "everyone gives (almost) everyone presents" around 15 years ago - though for some reason it still always seems like there are a couple of hundred presents stuffed under the tree and all over the living room

yeah. I give presents at Christmas.. but I don't like to give meaningless presents. I like to buy something practical that the person actually needs... or has a passion for. I'm not into buying presents just because I have to give someone something so they don't miss out.

yes, as long as i have something to spent. I give some present to my family members from my dad, mom up to all my nieces and nephews and even to my young cousins.

I spoil the shit out of my kids and get gifts for some friends, family, and of course, my affiliates.

personally I prefer receiving hand made items and sexy presents from my wife.
I have no desire to receive anything from anyone else, although it's nice when people put some thought into it.

I don't like when people get me things because they feel they have to. I have all the crap I could ever want.

One thing I really, really hate - store bought cards. If you want to give me a card, make it yourself. Shows you care and mean it.
