By "like they mean it" I suspect you're talking about athletic or porn-style, which has its place, but doesn't really fit what a lot of my customers want in true amateur style. This has been my ONLY niche since the late 1970s (started with outdoor nudes), so it's all I know. I'm sure other content styles are different.

Low-intensity screwing can get boring, but if the scene is built around a fetish, and not just the sex, I find that works best. My approach has never been to shoot fucking (or whatever), so "fuck like they mean it" never comes up. I just address the sexual fetish of the audience - which in fact sometimes doesn't involve sex at all.

What I shoot now is solo content. I have to remind my performers, most of whom are just part-time and doing it for fun and money, not to overdo it. The absolute opposite of what most content producers ask for. I WANT them to masturbate the way they normally do. The performers understand they're supposed to actually orgasm. Amateurs work best for this. The pros just want to fake it, and it shows.

Perhaps I'm lucky that in my niche I don't have to tell them much. But I imagine if I had to shoot for other people it could get frustrating. I don't envy your work, and would never want to do it. I would always want to do it MY way, and I'd just end up pissing off the client!

Well maybe not YouTube as they don't allow explicit content, but certainly Yuvutu and others designed to address the amateur sex market. But in any case, I agree with this, though the amateurs turning to profit can often be found in places like Redclouds or Homeclips. I've seen maybe a dozen over the last year launch Proadult sites after posting their own clips. For that matter, a lot of the Proadult sites are real amateur sites.

I've also found amateurs posting for income/profit in the clips stores. If they make money at it I guess that means they're "professionals," but not the kind that I've been talking about. They shoot everything themselves, don't have brokers or agents, have other day jobs, etc. They're amateurs indulging in a hobby and making some money on the side.

Whether or not amateur-content tubes can turn a profit is yet to be seen, and I do agree with you A LOT of them will go under. But I think that worry is secondary to the legal aspects of no documentation of any type, the possibility of posting under age content, and the very real potential of invasion of privacy. It's only a matter of time before one of them is sued out of existence, or if it's in the US, under the microscope of the DOJ.

Making money doesn't make them any less amateur, it is a question on intent. With the rules on things like model releases, 2257, visa fees, and all that stuff, most people won't go the route to actually set a site up anymore or actively try to pursue this as an income source. A very few of them make the move to AVS style sites (or worse, SC or similar), but in the end they reach a dead end at the point that they must reveal their true identities and home addresses for their 2257 documents. Most of them won't take the chance once they are made aware of the rules, and go back instead to posting into the greyzone of tube sites for nothing.

Youtube has some of the best adult clips out there. They don't permit actual sex, but there is plenty of flashing, showing off, girls kissing, party girls, wet t-shirts and about a million other things that would appear to the lover of amateur porn. People don't have to fuck for surfers to get off.

If anything, the tubes have certainly knocked the NN sites pretty much into the weeds.

Okay dokay. But just know that your style of "amateur" isn't the kind of content I could ever use. It's why I've never bought from you - or most any other content provider - and just do it myself.
