Whats wrong with going 3 days? I shower twice a month whether I need it or not. It keeps me well scented for the ladies

I paid $1,000 to have my tub repainted (glazed) and I think the first clue would have been if the painters used a brush. They spray on the glaze, they don't paint it on other than the grit on the bottom of the tub (the treads).

You can have a tub reglazed? I must tell my folks, the tubs at their place are pretty worn out. I imagine they can get a cheaper job than 1k though (Mind they could afford it) and no wall paint either!

Yes, I also had all the tile reglazed as well. They use an acid chemical base to remove the shiny surface, then use a type of spray paint gun to glaze it with many layers.

They did the kitchen tile, too. They charge a lot but it's well worth it.

I don't know the costs right now, mine were done about ... hm ... tile was done when I bought the house about 15 years ago I guess, and I redid the tub about 5 years ago when I wanted the color freshened up.

Google has a lot of information on tub reglazing.

We got it fixed today but it looks like crap now. I least we can use it. they will have to sand it down or something to get the rest of the paint off.

Rent is dropping all around Daytona and many places even giving the first month free. If i were in your shoes i would be shopping for a new place ASAP. You can now get a 3 bedroom house for $850 per month which is more then some 1 bedroom apartments elsewhere.
