i just read the wikipedia entry for the book and films (dont do it, it gives the whole plot away) and it looks like this new film has done the typical hollywood treatment and totally toned down the whole original story and made the usual idiot-friendly changes that hollywood so love doing.

As a zombie movie I loved it. It had a lot of great scares, and the whole general idea of that particular scenario is just frightening to begin with. I really enjoyed it.

Ive ordered the origional 'I am Legend' book from amazon, supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Im going to read the book as the story interests me but i doubt i will watch the movie as will smith irritates the fuck out of me.
