Getting to the next level

I believe I will have a business thread on the Pond in 2008, and I will share my two and a half years experience in this business, and will show you some good ways to reach your goals in 2008.

Are you someone that projects for the upcoming months, setting yourself reachable goals, and most importantly, work towards reaching them?

I have set myself goals since the end of 2005, and have reached all of them since.

I have the biggest challenge of my webmaster's career right now, rehearsing for 2008......and so far I can say that I know I will achieve it, and I will get to that next level

Yes. I'll be pretty much starting over except for what I've built in the last 3-4 months and my goal is to double and then triple my income this next year.

I am compiling a list of general goals right now. Will streamline to the more realistic as time goes on. 08 is gonna be a better year!

Yeah, I've been learning to sell and finding what works on the tiny number of blogs I have. Now I've got my plans and fundamentals worked out and I'm expanding them and going after more niches.

Quick Tip: If you're finding it hard to write titles and ad copy that 'pop' and drawn attention, pick up a supermarket tabloid or go to websites like The National Enquirer, Weekly World News, etc. I have a swap-file just for provocative words and phrases that I find at sites like that and elsewhere.

Then, when you go to make titles and ad copy or you're trying to find a good memorable domain name, etc, you've got instant inspiration on tap.

I know you probably think I'm joking, but it works well for inspiration if you're not a 'natural'. Especially when you're really trying to grab a surfer by the eyeballs and say, "Hey! FUCKHEAD! Look over here and click me!".

Anyway, I thought I would pass that on since I would always draw a blank when I first started out or wouldn't know what to say at first in a title or a link besides "Watch this hot babe get it on!"...

LOL. (well maybe not quite that bad, but you know what I mean). That situation sux when you don't know how to fix it.

I hope that helps someone with adult blog writer's block.

hawkadu, I believe it to be yearly......I'm VERY far from 6 figures, but it is my goal for 2008! (at least having a monthly income of about 9K by December 2008)

But, I will be working like a maniac since I'm doing this part time!
