It's 6:14 PM here..
Cable being a shared connection,
It is at its worst between 6-10pm
*sigh*

I pay $30/mo for 11mb
They have me capped at 20
It never goes under the 12-14 range
I am very impressed with 16 at a peak time like now

I'm in Thailand, so it's an interesting question. Local speed is usually about 1.6 to 1.7 mbps, but that's local speed. International speed isn't as good. And I pay through the nose for it, 160 U.S. a month! In the U.S. I get a true 6 mbps down and pay 40 bucks a month on AT&T's new fiber optic network (UVerse). If you can get on that system, do it, it rocks! It kicks cable's ass! And Comcast's rates keep going up. Their TV service is good too. There's a long answer to a short question.
