What is yours ISP speed!

How fast do you surf / what is your internet speed?
Mine is 6 Mbps download and 1.2Mbps upload I can upgrade up to 21 Mbps but it would cost more money! I pay now $50 a month unlimited downloads etc ... I find out that mostly surfers that visit my websites are on some sort of high speed adsl or cable ...

It's actually supposed to be an "up to 20 Mbit" line, but unfortunately my new apartment is right out on the edge of town and apparantly a bit too far from the closest central/hub to reach speeds much higher than 8-10 Mbit (I've come close to 12 a few times).

Edit: Okay, that's a bit odd - just tried in it IE instead of Opera, and my ping time is much lower (and upload speed a bit higher as well).
Gotta be this test, as if anything Opera is usually a slightly faster browser than IE.

This is what i'm getting right now, sometimes its double that. keep in mind i'm wirless and I have no idea whose wireless network connection I'm hooked up to. I'm out in farm country. So Actually I'm not paying for my internet connection right now.

Thank goodness for faster speeds.
I did my best webmaster work on the dialup connection in the late 1990's but I left music d/l over a long holiday weekend and got a $1000 overage for that month, I kid you not.
