This is a very sad thing for the ordinary people of Pakistan & a big set back for the cause of democracy & peace in the world.

For those who say why did she take such risks? - the answer is she had no choice but to put herself in harm's way. She was trying to win an election and bring democratic government to her country.

It's simply not possible for anyone. especially a woman, to achieve such a huge task hiding behind high walls & armed guards in a country like Pakistan.

There's a classic movie called "The Good Die Young".

Instead of making the handles and supports flush to the surface of the sunroof, they used some handles that look like something designed for a 1930's Flash Gordon serial. So instead of the bullets and bombs getting her, she ducks down or is pulled down so fast she bangs her noggin' on the sharp metal support joints and dies.
