The link in my sig isn't masked, mouse over it and you will see.

I'm being helpful by letting fellow webmasters know about the promotion.

If you are referring to the masked url in my post i own that domain so i am gonna use it as it helps with stats to see which links, buttons & banners work better on different web sites and forums that i use.

Thanks Varzi for the orginal url .

I hate those cloaked/shortened urls , you never know where you are going .
It's ok for surfers , but don't use them on a webmasters board .

Edit : For tracking clicks you might want to consider using 'campaigns' , most sponsors offer them .
(Again for webmaster related stuff , hiding urls for surfers is your own choice)
