Netpond generates webmaster interest, promotes business and is a rewarding place to be. If you feel that there is nothing new in 2008 for you here, then why stick around?

I enjoy reading when photographers post about photography WHEN it isn't hijacked to talk about traffic, shooting in one style, etc, or they are told they are wrong in how they shoot.

If that forum comes back, I'll mention it to a few photographers I work with.

I enjoy learning about lighting, etc. I do produce content, though not as a photographer, but I can still pick up tips to give to my photographers when they ask certain questions.

I suspect that one of the reasons that many Netponders don't buy content is because the content producers shoot the wrong stuff. There have been numerous threads about amateur and niche content, and that is probably a big part of the future. If Netponders can help each other by shooting the stuff they want, and do it at budget prices, then that's going to be really helpful as we go into the challenges of 2008.

It seems to me that the best way to make such a forum a success is to ban content brokers and producers who say that all shoots have to cost $5,000. A visit to the woods in the sunshine with a $500 camera and a girl could produce something that is more useful than the product of a tired old pro in a studio.

Back in the day i worked with a 19 year old solo model who went from $500/Month non-nude to over $5000/Month semi-nude. Nobody in adult would even notice her because she was a bit thick and many considered her fat. After putting her site up on my affiliate program and giving it a little push she soon after turned up on just about every major TGP in existence.

Way back when she first emailed me i rejected (kinda like Paul does) and insulted her thinking it was generic bullshit camgirl type spam. It really turned out to be a profitable relationship for both of us in the end. Since then ive become much more open minded and try to choose my words a little more carefully.

Oh please do that!

I really like this idea as it could help me alot and I'm sure some of the other Amateur girls would appreciate it as well. My camera never cost $500, it was around $200 for a Pentax Optio (including mem card and few other things) and I also use my cellphone cam (which my avatar was taken with btw).
