I bet you make this mistake all the time

Ever look in your site stats and see something like dell.com and you know damn good and well dell doesnt have a link to your porn site on there site. Some stats programs on a fluke will pick up the surfer link into your site, that was a type in or a bookmark. How is this your mistake, it isnt, but what you do thats a mistake is go from your stats, or some secure area to a bookmark or type in. When you go from a secure area to another website, you should close the secure area browser window, and start fresh..

yeah i supposed something like that is happening. Regularly i see in my stats strange referrers that would never have a link to porn site, and especially mine

Yes, I saw a mainstream site in my referrers long ago. Once I visited that site I knew it had nothing to do with porn.

I didn't think browsers report previous pages as referrers unless an actual link was clicked, maybe someone hardcoded thier browser to always report a particular website(probly thier own) to get a bit of traffic from curious webmasters

Google Analytics is free and uses the same technology behind Urchin. The only catch is that Google gets to know all your naughty little traffic secrets. You will not find anything better then Urchin itself but its very costly.
