GOP Rivals Target Romney
Sunday, January 06, 2008 8:08:51 AM
By LIZ SIDOTI Surging in New Hampshire, John McCain seemingly should have been the candidate taking heat from his Republican presidential opponents. But Mitt Romney was the one assailed during a high-stakes GOP debate. The reason: His rivals want to cripple the ultra-wealthy former Massachusetts governor with back-to-back losses in Iowa and New Hampshire that would hamper him in states beyond. "My friend, you can spend your whole fortune on these attack ads, but it still won't be true," McCain told his chief competitor, taking issue with a Romney TV commercial on immigration that says the Arizona senator "wrote the amnesty bill that America rejected."... http://www.mail.com/Article.aspx?art...bcat=&pageid=1 |

If he wants to hurt McCain's support with Independents, Romney should just air that recent "Make it 100!" video, where McCain say's he's fine with staying in Iraq for another 100 years: http://youtube.com/watch?v=vf7HYoh9YMM
Probably won't though, cause that would just send more Independents over to Ron Paul. __________________
