This Darlanne Toussaint is clearly mentally ill, and almost certainly educationally subnormal.

I can't see that physically torturing him to death for the appalling crime he has committed is an appropriate, or indeed sane, response.

Ya this happened near were I live. I don't want to seem like a jerk but there seems to be a lot of poor and trashy people around here. I don't know what it is about central Florida but all types of crimes are common here on a daily basis. There are probably a lot of convicted criminals running around down here that have no business being outside of a jail cell. On the same day this happened a woman was stabbed to death by a stranger while she stood outside her home having a smoke. the guy said he did it because he was mad after having an argument with his GF.

I think there are just to many people popping out babies that have no business being around a child in the first place.

I do. He could have walked out of the house and left the child.
And I don't subcsribe to the thinking that because he may be mentally ill
and\or educationally subnormal should get him specail treatment.

That's just it. He had to have put some thought into this whole sick mess. No telling how long he sat around thinking about using hot oil and a hair dryer on that baby. I hate to think about what other creatures this sick fuck has tortured. They always start out hurting animals then move on the humans.

Actually according to reports of the case, both he & the child's mother frequently left her children alone for periods of up to several hours. The mother has been arrested as well & has been charged with neglect. She'll probably be done for conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, or something similar, as well, because the police have copies of the text messages the pair sent each other as they tried to figure out what to tell the police about how the little boy received his injuries.

I don't think he should get "special treatment". Frying the guy in oil and removing his skin would be special treatment, & what kind of monster are you going to have to hire to carry out such a sentence?
