Hi again !
This topic is for adult webmasters that use linux... what programs are you using to do your work ? galleries, image editing etc...

I use:
KompoZer (Just like dreamweaver) but in linux style .
Gnome Commander ( Total Commander father .)
VLC (Powerful movie player)
GIMP (Photoshop style...)

And i use some emulated windows programs like TMPGEnc, Frameshots, but im searching for native linux programs that can help me to do the work.

I have Photoshop, Dreamweaver, FireFox, and IE running on Linux.

VLC is a good movie player.

Open Office Writer I use for writing text. The whole Open Office suite is actually nice, but I use the writer daily.

The only tool I use often is Advanced Submitter, which I can't get to run on Linux. I have a dual boot, so I just log out and log into Windows or use another Windows machine.

I use ffmpeg for video encoding, mplayer to watch videos, kino to edit videos, gimp to edit photos, inkscape for design work (it's a vector drawing program), emacs and vim for editing text files, and firefox and konqueror for web browsing. Oh, and I use ssh and rsync to update web pages at my hosting, and subversion for versioned storage of all pages and associated files.

I haven't tried any of the comparable Windows or Mac OS tools (except IE and the horrendously incompatible Windows Media Player), so to me these aren't replacements or alternatives, but "the real thing".

I need a good movie editor.
To split movies, cut movies, something like TmpegNC.
If you some good program, please tell me.

emacs and python. emacs is for any kind of editing I do, including keeping track of my progeress and writing scripts. I use python for: creating web pages, creating RSS feeds for my blogs , do some automated link-dumping.
