I also doubt that this will prove to be a lifetime ban. Paul's the sort of guy (even if he is pushing 60) who will still be around in this business in 10 years time, long after quite a few of his detractors will have moved on to other pursuits.

Heinlein borrowed. No problem with that.

However, the classic 1950's US sci fi move Forbidden Planet is based on William Shakespeare's play The Tempest.

That doesn't mean Shakespeare had anything to do with 1950's US sci fi movies.

There are content guys in the same niche that spend more then what Paul makes in a year just on advertising. He started his paysite because obviously content sales are dropping. There are more girls posing on youtube for free in the last two years then all the girls Paul has shot in the past 10 years.

If Paul was in such a great position he would not continue becoming more and more aggressive even towards his customers. I would never attack a customer on any forum for any reason to bash them for how much they spend on hosting. I don't know the guy, but when you see someone with 8k posts leave a forum because of someone else it instantly makes you curious as to what could have possibly been said by such a person...so i went and read a few of Mr. Markham's posts and now I think I see... He wont last simply because hes too analog in a digital world...stuck in the 90's ... his talent of shooting is quickly being ruled as unnecessary in the world we now live in, and it scares him... Just as one day my programming abilities will be unnecessary and it will scare me... People lash out when their lifes work is deemed unnecessary ...

The future of adult is interactive and dynamic, not some static picture... let him sulk in the corner...

In a nutshell: He put all his eggs in a small basket, and his baskets wheels have begun to fall off...

As much success as Paul has gained over the years one thing is certain he gives back very little. You wont find him doing much of anything to help anyone but himself in this biz. In fact if you spend $100 a month for the next 10 years on his content he will probably insult you for not buying more.

I guess when I start making a decent living in the business I will have to learn to give back more. If I was making a lot of money I would definitely do more to help others on the pond.
