yep that's right...due to high demand, I now drop my price to $60 per toon.

I'm also giving discounts for designers out there if they need some toons.

Dude, stop selling yourself so short. It makes you look cheap and hungry. This is hard work for professionals and that low as a standard and not a discount is undermining the market.

I know $60 goes a long way over there in the Philipines but remember you're working for a global market and there are pro-level colleagues out here.

Be good to yourself and charge what you're worth.

Yeah if you have high demand, raise your prices! And the dollar exchange rate is in the toilet so maybe you should charge in euros too : )

There's no association here. I have high demand too but not that low. Maybe if it's an introductory rate to someone who's done a favor sure.

Hosting isn't hand done, hard earned talent and skill.

Didn't say it didn't require skill and labor. According to you when I was looking for a host that the host I'd chosen would fold up or charge higher rates or some other disastrous thing. So far after months on end nothing bug glowing service.

I agree with Greg. The mainstream is flooded with artists that low balls that they're practically giving it away for free. At a certain mainstream forum, I was aghast when the client thinks I charge way too high. He got someone doing it for him for $15. It's hard to put a price on work anymore.

I don't even know if I'll surviving in doing toons that I have to branch out doing other work.
