a wasted day

i spent the whole day mucking around with a WP template, trying to make it look nice and in the end i decided to just order one! if i'd done that 8 hours ago i could have done something else!

Don't you have set goals for each day? Mine is to make a new 10 post blog and submit it to the directories. It takes me about two hours and no matter what I do I always get that done before I go to bed.

when i create new blog looking for template + editing it takes more than 50% of time needed to create the blog. There is no perfect template, I need to order one for my needs aswell

same here actually, the trouble is i either become anal over the site and try and do everything to perfection (or my idea of it) or become slapdash and pop up a pigs ear of a page.
also i really, really hate the idea of parking a domain or leaving it unused, even for a day, as soon as i've registered a site, something goes up

we are on the same boat pretty much. for one of my new site i selected a template and was playing with it yesterday, then decided to go with a different template. but i wasted about couple of hours
