I think it's time to focus on sponsors who don't rip off affiliates traffic without credits, and all the affiliate link thieves. If you become much more selective in choosing sponsors, then you should be able to keep sales ratios above average.

As somebody else said, be wary of the sponsors who use your free traffic to give cars and other prizes to their preferred affiliates. Watch out for tour leaks, and sponsors trying to sell other products in preference to their own paysites.
