What VOD sites do you like and why?

What is your preferred pimping methodology?

VOD is long-term income as I've said many times. I wrote a tutorial on it but hesitate to write another for the reasons you list -- it's not instant income and people want to make a lot of money fast.

I can tell you after a few years you can be doing 4 figures a month with VOD.

I use theaters of AEBN customized with my layout and videos of my niche. These theaters are a steady income source for me!

I thought your tutorial wasw great and very helpful... I realize it is not instant income... I want to use them to build long term

I am just am moving minimal traffic to and then it is not converting.. i am wondering what are best tweaks as I want to grow this.

AEBN or Moviedollars?
Custom theater or dont bother?


Right now I do handwritten reviews and have a small banner... just wondering what others do?

We're way more than the 2 other VOD programs mentioned in this thread. We pay either 35% or $35 pps

I would also challenge you on the point that VOD has to be a long-term investment. We pay $35 PPS

We also have some promo tools including Movie of the day links and rotating box covers.

Pimping VOD depends on your traffic and site layout. I often recommend that people link directly to a movie, or even our top 10 list.

Well, I use AEBN and have tried several others. I didn't know your program had PPS or even had the free 15-minute option, never read about it. I guess you don't post much here?

It won't work for my main niche traffic, because you don't seem to have videos in my main niche. I could not get my own theatre either.

But I'm sure it works for others who want PPS and instant income. As I repeatedly say, what works for me may not work for you, and I have my own business strategy and know what works for me.

I'll check out your microniches and see if you have anything for what I need.

I'm not much of a board poster, no. I just wish there were more hours in the day.

Since we're still the newest in the VOD market, we're limited to how fast our encoding department can add movies. We currently have aroung 35,000 movies and are adding about 100 per day.

I think we're the only VOD site that has an instant 15 minute free trial without the need for a Credit Card.

What is your main niche? I can add a search string to your link codes to bring up anything.

The 35% to Webmasters is a pretty decent share, but for the time being the lack of titles is going to keep me from fully pushing it. So buy more encoders!

I currently use AEBN and Hotmovies, balancing their respective strengths depending on the niche, and they take turns being the higher earner. Like Pam sez, you *definitely* can do four figures a month on VOD if you do your site well enough. (Don't rely just on the VOD site, or even your own custom theater. Sell your customer before they even get there.)

For lurkers: The $35 PPS option is good for those who are impatient, but you're really giving away the farm if you go that route. VOD is a long-term investment. The average customer will earn you more than $35.

I truly believe that VOD is the shape of things to come. I have told people this time and time again. It will make money and ton's of it. But it might take a while. it took some time for DVD's to take over from tapes. But once people realize it. everybody and his brother will be starting a VOD site.

Hairy. I know when I asked for a custom theatre, I was turned down unless I could guarantee X number of sales a month. I can't do that without lying, and I won't do that. I haven't a clue how your site would convert so don't want to make a promise I can't keep.

When I tried to create links for hairy, then clicked on the link, the videos there were not in the hairy niche.

I do well with Movie Dollars but as others stated you need patience to see some decent returns, my customers keep cumming back for more, I wouldn't settle for a flat $35 payout

If you can't guarantee X number of sales you can guarantee what kind of aprox traffic you can send, that would do
