Starting a tube site

Im thinking to start a tube site.
I have no experience with tube sites, so i need some advices...
What do i need ? what kind of hosting ? what kind of scripts ? etc...

I think he means the market is overcrowded. So many are giving away tons or ripped porn that starting a legal one that will profit might be difficult.

The problem with tube sites is that the ones that get good traffic usually have lots of stolen videos and that's not the way you want to go in this business if you want to be around for very long. I think it's probably not easy to run a legal one

Will be very hard, you are right on that... but i know tube sites that dont have any stolen videos and they are doin` very good and i get good traffic and sales from them.

I can see legal tube sites evolving into profitable business's and
producing good traffic.
I think it may be the right to time too take all the good ideas
from existing tube sites and put them into one site.

What sort of content to do you propose to have, UGC, sponsor submitted
or buy content in?
Will the site be free to view and rev comes advertisers?
or
Will you charge for each clip viewed?
If so who much per clip? Think clips4sale. and rev share with the submitter.
Will you charge sponsors to submitt their content? after all they are getting
traffic.
or
Will you sign up with a certain amount of sponsors and
generate affiliate rev from the clips etc they submitt?

You need :

Beefy dedicated hosting
Good Lawyer
Programmer for everything that goes wrong (all the tube scripts require extra work)
A traffic source to feed it
Enough cash to take losses while you build up traffic

A large number of tube sites aren't even making a profit.

It has been said over and over again but the adult industry is no longer in the stage where you could make almost instant profits with anything you start. Tube sites are a good example - you need to have a decent amount of money to invest and don't expect to break even for a year or two. If you're a newbie without some capital, I would advise you against it. If you have some $$ in your pocket and are willing to take a long-term view, then go for it.
