Everyone has been telling me the same thing about sales

Not to change the topic of the thread, but last month my utility bill, gas, water, electric, sewer was
$545 and some change.. But I do live in a big house..

I love your avatar, Sleazy. And I'd HAPPILY exchange bills. My electric bill alone was almost half of your total monthly bill (and that's without central a/c in the winter). My heating bill was more than your entire bill and I keep my house cold!! (I am SO cheap).

But, with bills going up as we're showing, people are cutting back, so sales will suffer in some areas. Wal-Mart and other retailers are claiming gift cards are being redeemed for staples like diapers, not extravagant items.

The only good thing about this is hopefully if gas prices keep going up, people will want to sell their classic cars for a good price.

Sales are pretty slow for me too. My best ccbill sponsor has been worst hit and ratios have almost doubled. I'm a little bit depressed atm

I look at what the average American is paying in bills each month and I can't figure out how anyone can survive on less than $100k a year!

Just the communication bills alone are in the $100s. Blackberries, iPhones, DSL, phone service. That much money to tell mother fuckers to leave me alone? I cut all that shit out. I have DSL and a land line. If telepathy don't work then don't try gettin' hold of me except PMs, IMs, Skype, or email.

Energy bills? Electricity is ridiculous. It's a fucking rip off. Same with gas and oil. People in the U.S. are so stupid they let themselves get fucked into paying far more than what it's worth because no one is gonna bitch due to the fact that half of us make money off energy in our union retirement funds.

These expenditures cut into the surfer's wallet. How can he/she justify and expenditure of $39.95 here or $54.95 there? Average person can't afford a paysite subscription or two per month. Who are they gonna go to? They're going to go to whomever satifies their itch with gusto that's why AVS and multi-site sponsors do so well. You get more bang for your buck.

We have to offer the surfer irresistable content for an affordable price, security and no bullshit service. Not one link in your chain from you to your host to your processor can be weak one iota. One thing I like about Netpond and some of the other boards like Oprano and Cozy is that in less than five minutes you will find a pro-level service for your needs. Every freakin' day 2 or more new opportunities are presented. So many opportunities I can't keep up with them. On all levels I'm making more money and more ground. Listen to the old timers in this biz. If they've been around 5 years or more there's a damn good reason for it.

There are far too many brilliant and reliable resources in this industry to fail. One's philosophical outlook is a major point too. Work smart not hard, enjoy what you do, never settle for second best, any of the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition, even some of those old Bazooka Joe tips. ( If you know what I meant by Bazooka Joe you are an old fuck like me! ).

Failure in this biz is due to not paying attention and being too dependent on others and being lazy and irresponsible. Putting tits on a webpage and charging for it is easy enough for a human to do. ( I would have said chimpanzee but that recent scientific discovery that showed they kicked our asses in computer memory tests shows they ain't our second )

I can see if you depend on others for content. You can get fucked real quick doing that. Soon as a sponsor announces new shit to sell it's already saturated to death. Micro niche and i'll say it again.

Globo mentions blogs. They do have their advantages but it takes skillz to blog at that level and I'm studying. I've made some great scores blogging. I write for so many blogs and review sites I've got to turn some down. I will not miss any opportunity to succeed.

So again, the average American is swamped for their dollar. Mostly bureacracy eats up their dollar. Legislators can't wait to suck up to the industrialists to milk you for your money. It's a total reversal as now you end up as a moneymaker for the State. It's not supposed to be that way. Your money is supposed to go to you not fifty other agencies.

Target the surfer with a bargain they can't turn down. You have what they want or you don't or you don't know how to sell it.

Sales are up & down .. Like yo yo .. But i dont see this industry dying anytime soon.. There is still lots of cash out there.
