Good alternative to windows media player?

Every version I try of WMP sucks balls
I like to have WMP open on monitor two so I can click several videos to preview (sequentially) stupid wmp freezes all up over there all of the time

I will give a props to VLC as well. One of the best things to come off the Internet in the last few years.

VLC for compatibility and configurability.. but it doesn't have the best picture out of the box

I use Bsplayer cause i can config all the codecs pretty easily from there, VLC is such a hassle for me, couldn't even find how to make the picture brighter lol

I use GOM player - he plays almost everthing
VLS is better but GOM is as good as VLC

GOM software - Free, Simple, Light, It just plays! - GOM Media Player, GOM encoder

I use WMP for everything,never have any problems...try with Winamp,or BS Player ...they are also good
