Banners are useless.........

I have been making tests with CrazyEgg for the past days, and I can only see that the banners on my blogs are just some sort of decorations!

So, nobody click banners.......on my blogs that is!

(I have read it many times, but now I know it's a pure fact)

Brazzers(juggcash) banners (cool banners, out of standard style) are working fine for me. ~10%CTR on one blog [on top].

actually, I have a special movie sponsor who has a killer collection of "flash" banners that convert like silly... pm me if you wanna know who it is... unfortunately they are not yet NP sponsors ....

One thing with banners on a blog...most people are there to read, so make creative text ads or even an 'article" that is basically an ad for the site you are promoting. You'll see better clickthroughs and probably see better sales ratios as well...

banners do suck, when i am not in a lazy mood i make thumbs from pics with sales text, that gets a bit better CTR, maybe you just need to forget about banners at all, just text and pics/movies.

I am getting maybe 2-3 sales a week off a banner that I show on most of my blogs. The reason I know it is the banner, I have no other promotion for that sponsor.

So many people have ad blockers that block banners, if you don't have some text you could be losing out on a lot of clicks.
