Is this Boinc and World Community Grid run through IBM, if so I have been running this For three years now....there is a whole bunch of Programs...

yes people can use Boinc I think. I'm not sure if world community grid counts all of these on there stats page but I'd hope that people would concentrate on the human disease ones as these are the most practical in my opinion but all of them benefit science so all are good and in the spirit of this contest.

I agree with you in that the human disease issues should be the primary effort. some of the other's deal with genetic and the conditions that are cause by heredity, drug delivery, etc.

There is something here for everyone. Sometime back I can't recall at the moment...there was a report that grid was as powerful if not more powerful than any super computer out.

Most of us have system's now that only few years ago could only be had by medium to large corporation and government. Yeah this is a good cause and a wonderful way to have fun on the 'pond.
