Lot of famouse companies in adultbiz !
Some realy big companies bay houses, islands, lands and make they own secondlife there!
Did secondlife will survive with this plan, with this idea. What will be secondlife in the future?Porn is involved there ofcourse ?
Do you like this game ? Some people now make lot of money playing this game!
Baying, selling!Or doing some things for other people.

I know two adult webmasters who have stopped promoting everywhere but Second Life.
One claims to make more in a week than he made in a month promoting elsewhere.

I can tell you many have made money but even more have lost their asses in these worlds. Many others are dumping money left and right just to get people to come and see their ads. Most all the sponsors from Project Entropia bailed out. In turn players started buying what they could afford to keep the world from appearing empty. The game developer was to busy milking it to really care about the few dollars they lost from advertising. I have talked to people who have dropped up to $10k USD who said it would take them a good 5 years to see a return. I dont know about most but wating 5 years for a payoff and having to work for it is just to much for so little.

These worlds are a gamble since for someone to make another has to lose.

I know SecondLife can be profitable, but you need to have a very structured plan of what you are promoting and how.

There are some major adult companies in there already, but like all things adult, anything niche related always has opportunities.

I would talk to one of the people running the adult side over there and bounce your ideas of them. Maybe you can work something out.

I wouldn't put to much time or money into it but I think you can buy billboard advertising in the game.

With secondlife it can be profitable but you have to be careful how you do it (I have played it now for almost two years) and have made a ton of lindens (about 500 bucks in rl money) in game just stripping. They actually banned rl porn pictures for a while due to 2257 laws but they might have changed that due to 2257 being ruled unconsitutional. You also need to do your research as well on traffic ect and not get side tracked with the other stuff. I play it purely for relaxation but it does have money in it. My friend who ran a magazine was pulling in an extra 500 a month rl money just off of advertising.

Second life is over rated and over worked, however there are a lot of other virtual worlds out there now.... look around

The main prolem with them all is that you have only a second level of control, the owners of the game make changes daily that effect your income.

To make good money in any of these you need a great profile and these take time to build, but as a promoter/spammer working in a 3d artists enviroment ... hehehe you got to have the art skills too which has been my biggest learning curve.

I make 70% of my income out of 3d worlds now. Thats why you don't see me round much these days... I have another life and its not second

I mainly work IMVU.com as they have the best profit making system by far. In fact the game was built from the ground up to make money, established by one of the founders of There.com. It costs you about $10 to get setup as a developer and another $20 if you want to have an access pass ( internal adult verfication ). if your serious there is some good cash, but you want to either be handy with Photoshop or something like 3dmax/ sketchup. I just work there as a texture artist and have nearly 50 accounts now, two at Pro level

Think of it as marketing with these 3d worlds and before you do a thing build a home page and ask yourself the same questions you do with domains, how do I get traffic.

All the professional artists tend to just make clothes, so let them have that area , start with furniture items and just look for meshes that can be changed with only changing one texture. Your best customers are not the men its the women aged 35 + ie boarded housewives. i sell ingame credits as well and some of these users spend 200-$500 bucks a month in these games, most of the junkie users will blow about $20-$50.

I can't say its easy money because it is not, most of your market is teens, you just got to look for the mums online too The game has rules and you need to keep to them, so if you want to sell adult itms you can but you need to have a adultpass. there is good money in adult BUT its not the most profitable area in these games.

damn I feel lost in that, in times when i played games there wasn't anything like that. So how do you earn there if you know photoshop? What do you create with it? And how do people who are not skilled earn in that game? I suppose its not aimed to webmasters
