regardless of how sick or unstable your mind set is that day. after 8.5

days i reached my limit and ran out of the place no regrets

I did telemarketing in the late 80s when I was in college. Great part time work, and back then it was still a very viable way to do business IMO...

It helped me in my ability to relate to strangers I'm trying to sell to, deal with rejection, and make me think quicker. Sales is largely what I do now 20 years later.

yee my new job is telemarketing in an office thats why i wrote that poem " day 1" as it was a couple of days back...

I find it fun becuase i have a vivid imagination an daydream whilst im talking!...

Some find it soul destroying i get a buzz of it ploughing my wits against another like chess.. Youve either got it or you havent....

Its one of the few jobs i can find where potentilay i can earn a lot in a short time period.... In the good old days ( 2000 - 2004) i was making 2 to 3 k a week!!!!!

My goal is not work from now til july an then hopefully be finacially secure to take some time off to write till im skint again an bak to the grind stone...

yay! i strongly agree with what just LAJ said...

i've also worked before as a telemarketer for some sort of YP listing! darn, it was hard at first! but the experienced was quite great coz i learned myself to get with strangers just by taking rapports with them... but really sucks when they hung up the fone! geezz...

but now.. don't want to get back into it, im done with it and i'm enjoying my life over the net!
