technical question about LCD monitors
Ok, earlier this week I purchased a new 24 inch LCD monitor as well as PC. The problem is, my new monitor is 15 pin and I still need to access files every now and then from my old PC but it only has a 14 pin outlet for monitors. So, my question is, do any of you know if there are 15pin to 14pin converters available out there? It would just be easier to use my new monitor instead of setting up my old monitor every time I need to access old files. I did a Google search and found nothing but maybe some of you technical gurus out there know of a place where I could purchase such a device, if it even exists.

There are indeed such connectors, I had two of them come with my ATI Radeon 1950XTX video card, that I bought over an year ago.
Otherwise I couldn't connect it to my old 17 inch monitor that I bought in 1999. I'd go to a PC shop and ask there. __________________
