Nothing to do with this thread really but thats just untrue about strokes, they can take years to recover from, or even not at all, stokes can range from a very minor incidence to very major onces indeed that require outside assitance for the rest of your life.

Yes they can, but unless he is a vegetable he would be able to continue to run his business, in some way shape or form. And considering he said more then once he ran a multi million dollar domain operation one could only assume that he would be able to send 1-2 staff members to clean up and take care of his adult business.

I'm not going to argue the point, but look at all the facts and if you all want to believe that Thomas is still in the hospital eager to return to netpond and pick up where he left off you're going to have a long long wait.

I always find these threads interesting. V.G. Content is being polite in not drawing attention to the unfinished business that T.B. may have left behind.

Hotsitez was - what it was - for those of you who promoted them you also know they could not retain due to content issues. A site that can't retain can not remain open. Therefore, those people who might have links to them may want to consider tracking them down and removing if you have not already due to the retention issues.
As for not wanting to speak about Thomas because he was a mod here - the mods are not always held in great esteem due to oftimes blatantly poor behaviour. So not speaking due to that, would not be an issue to most thinking persons.
However to drag an absent person's name through the mud also drags your own through it. I suspect any silence on his whereabouts and activities might be attributed to the latter reason rather than the former.

I would swear that last week I saw a post by someone who had HotSitez in his signature or nickname.

I know he had a site where you could post your blog posts ... and I was there a month ago but deleted it from my bookmarks. [edit: Adult Social Blog for the new generation of Porn and XXX adult entertainment lovers. and it appears to be active]

He and I have a little unfinished business but nothing major. Thomas was a mentor to many, many people and I learned a lot from his posts on blogs.

As for his sites, I, too, remember reading about all the content shooting he was doing, but I never did review his sites so don't know about the members' areas.

I hope he's doing ok and yes, some people who have massive strokes are unable to speak again, or type ... without knowing the extent of his stroke, I can only speculate like everyone else.

my post wasnt meant to defend anyone or anything but after spending ten years working on a hospital ward full of stroke victims, i couldn't let that post past without comment

Dear People -

I will make a post about this in its own thread as well. But 1st Thomas Byers is doing much better, he has good days an bad. I am in occasional contact with him. He is about 75% recovered from his stroke. He did have an employees writing things fro him, here and there, and he has started to put in a day or two per week, as well. His family is keeping him from getting back to work like he used too. As you that knew Thomas, know he worked almost 20 hours per day on projects, and that was just unhealthy. As a side note Thomas was the Affiliate manager and the main blog / rss feed writer for Hot SiteZ Cash.

As for Hot SiteZ Cash - I must apologize, and make no excuses. I did have some personal health issues this past winter, but I have also been very involved with my NON-ADULT business as well as other projects.

What happened to Hot SiteZ Cash is this, as many of you know I was the CEO for Hot SiteZ Cash, and a 10% partner, and basically the front / face man. Well against my judgment the other two partners wanted an affiliate program, they wanted way to much to fast. I had the perfect Affiliate Manager to run the program in Thomas and then his stroke happened, and I was at a loss without him. The Partners also did not want to put enough money into things, They expected to make tons of cash immediately and any of us in the business know that is not the way it is, things take time - a couple of years at least.

Well this past January while I was recovering from an injury, and after fighting with the partners to pay their bills (which I had no control over the monies for that company as people like VG Content and other know), I get a call from one of the content providers that they had not been paid, and from NATS that they have not been paid. So I contacted the partners whom when finally returning a call to me told me they were out of the business and had closed the bank accounts. Now I was legally instructed to stay clear of the Hot SiteZ Cash issue, until all could be figured out. I did pay a few companies and people out of my pocket, doing what I could. But it was to no end. The partners no longer return my call and I have found out one of them moved to Costa Rica (must be nice, since he owes me money). But al least no affiliate was owed any real money no one ever even reached a $50 min payout level, before the affiliate program went down.

I know now being silent has not helped matters, but as no excuse I have been dealing with many other issues. Heck I am in deep with Erika Red (wife - shhh), whom had her own site ( HOT BBW LIVE BIG BEAUTIFUL WOMAN Free Daily Pictures Video Blogs Stories ) was doing very well and convinced her to move over to Hot SiteZ Cash, use our servers and billers, etc. and She was left high and dry her site server shut down and she has received no income from her site since last November. I hear about it daily, as she has just obtained a server and begun rebuilding her site.

I had made an offer to buy the domains and try to rebuild the sites, so far I have been ignored. I know in this adult business stuff like this will kill you, but I have learned a lesson, I will no longer be the Face man for a company I have no real control over, and partners are never to be completely trusted.

I know many of you will slam me, etc. But I am man enough to take my lumps and apologize. I will attempt to make amends The Adult Social Blog for the new generation of Porn and XXX adult entertainment lovers. project that Thomas and I started, out of my pocket still remains open to webmaster as a free adult community blog.
