Well, I don't think it was naked hosting. I get a red hat linux page now. I have been sending traffic to this program for months. No one reported it out of biz. It belongs to tbeyers, so I was hesitant to say anything, but this program is not available anymore. I am wondering why no one said anything about this program going down.

Thomas was just promoting them. The owner is somebody else. Goes by the handle 'Hot Sitez' I think.

i have pulled their links off, coz they are down from really long time, and also i had noticed their sites was fuckin slow lots of time before they go down..

as writing this went to open their site and now i see default apache new install page

They purchased some content, but yes it was a lot of feeds and etc.

The guy in charge/owner went away about the same time as Thomas as I use to talk to him often.

I hate saying this as Thomas was liked around here, but it may be time to start admitting that he may have been a bad apple up to no good.

yeah, Thomas was really helpful with his blogging infos and really helped lots of people here and only good things was related to him. Only i find it weird, not hearing anything from him, about him or anything from his partners after his disappearance because of illness.

Personally I haven't heard any rumors and i don't think anyone around here would be afraid to talk if there was something fishy around him or someone else, no matter if he is regular member or mod.

I know for fact there ARE rumors, and that people DO have unfinished business with him. They would rather not make it public and it's not my place to bring their issues to light.

That being said, look at everything going on here.

Thomas was involved in a lot of things, had business with people, and then gone had a stroke. Unless you are left braindead they do not take 6 months to recover from.

With the size of business that he claimed to run it's hard to believe he could not have someone come here and answer questions needs, tie up loose ends. He claimed before to own tens of thousands of domains and had a full staff to run them for him. How can one of them not handle his blog business and his program?

Hotsitez is gone, with no warning, the "owner" went gone just about the time Thomas did. I am sure there are probably affiliates who have not been paid.

Think about it, I know we all hate to think the worst, but captain obvious is kind of slapping us all in the face.

In life very few people, in business look in the mirror. After that you MUST trust no one. Money and temptation can get almost anyone.

When it comes to business trust your business, and only do business with people who have a proven track record.

I can only say that Thomas was a true inspiration for many of us, and I feel sad he left.....

.....but he started many new type of businesses before he vanished.....maybe he needed to just do that!

VG, well i never had personal touch with Thomas and didn't know him that closer. I didn't know he have unfinished business with people afraid to talk and etc.. Thats why i told in my previous post i find it weird not to hear anything related to him that long.

I never get closer with him because i wasn't heavily blogging at that time and because of the lesson i learnt from the Ricardo drama. I always have reservations about people that come here and become pretty much loved and popular for no time and talking how much they own, how much money they make.

After the time has passed since his absence, yes there is place for the situation being fishy, no doubt! And other netponders had disease problems, but they still take part in here and i hope to do so many more years. Just i don't think the worst, because i didn't hear anything bad about him till now..

will be watching this thread closely to see where it will end up..
