Do you think they are really going to stomp you or will you find a way to make the model work for you? Or perhaps you are just going to try to ride them out until there is a next big thing?

I dont think anything can be above the free surfers enjoyment of the tubesite..

But yes, I hate them, not worried of them.

Our movies are better than that shown on tube & you cannot find Natalie or our southerncumsluts on other sites... therefore its exclusive material.

imho, there is no reason to fear them at all...

surfers have and will always enjoy FREE porn. use the sites as a promotional vehical, learn how to build a business model around them, just like using a tgp/mgp or even a network of "free" sites.

i believe hustler has launched a tube site, to capitalize on the crazy traffic that can be harnessed for promotion usage.

the issue of stolen content on tube sites is a no-brainer, its wrong to use the sites that way.. but beyond that, make a tube site with some niched content and be f*ing happy.

Well one reason is that it is now easier than ever to steal and distribute stolen content. Another is that morons are using full length movies.

A legit tube site with short clips and content the wm either owns or is using on behalf of a sponsor is nothing to fear at all.

Surely the biggest threat to come from tube sites is the ready made vehicle for trojan installers. Affiliate link theft and signup diversion are the biggest threats to affiliates at the moment imho.

Took a quick look at the site above. A surfer forum, no doubt with ripped off content, I didnt bother joining to find out. Half the links are in some language I didnt understand (possibly Turkish). The guys I (we) want are the ones who would just as easily spend $30 on a porn site membership as they would a football bet or a takeway meal. Tube sites are new just like free porn forums were once new. When the forum model started some people ran legal forums and still made money but once the surfers started making forums and webmaster realized they could play both sides of the coin you soon found everyone making illegal forums and making money off of the adds of programs that didn't care where they got their traffic from.

Now most surfers won't stick around a forum unless it's an illegal one because they already know where the good ones are. Tubes are just a worse version of the forum because now the surfer has the preview right in front of them and can play the vid with one click instead of using rapidshare or another file host and waiting for the download.

Once tubes get popular all the cheaters will have them and shitty ones with 60 second movies will be worthless. Why any sponsor would start giving away hours worth of free downloads is totally beyond me. It flies right in the face of common since. It's like digging your own grave and then jumping in it. Sponsors should be trying to remove free porn sources from the Internet not add them.

This is probably the wave of the future but it will also be the end of the pps and revshare model for the adult industry. Yearly profits will continue to go down and only cam sponsors will remain but I believe even their revenue will be cut sharply.

My question why are you in such a hurry to start losing money. I think the industry needs to slow down and take a second look at the tube model. If I wanted to I could get a tube site set up tomorrow and have hundreds of hours of content online and when someone complained about a movie I had on it I could just so ohh, I'm sorry, a surfer must have posted it I'll get it down asap and a week later put it back up. It's a lot of bullshit if you ask me. In the last year I have dumped all my sites that where doing bad things and I went from making over 3k a month to just around 1k a month but at least now I'm doing it the honest way and trying to build my business on a solid foundation of sites that pull in SE traffic.

Anyone can make a ton of money by stealing content or giving away a ton of porn but it's not something you should be proud of because there will cum a day soon that you will struggle to get a sale even on a site like that because there will be so much free porn on the net that no one gives a shit about buying a membership to a site.

The web is moving toward faster download speeds and so streaming content is the future and cannot be stopped unless some serious legal things are done but the fact is most sponsors don't really care that much about it and when they see their pocket books hit and do start to care about it the time for action will have been long past and it will be to late.
