how many sites did you run b4 going fulltime?

I don't plan on going full time, I currently have around 300+ blogs and around 100+ sites. People have gone full time with many less sites than me in the past. Some have many more than me.

i had no sites at all when i started full-time 2 yrs ago. but i was in a fortunate situation that i had at least 6 months in which i didn't really need to earn any money.

I think I had two developed sites and 4 domains, obviously the answer will be widly different for everyone because of thier unique circumstances

I went full time with my very first site 10 yrs ago.
Have never regretted it

If I recall correctly, I had around a handful of text heavy blogs, did occasional gallery and freesite submissions (stopped that entirely a few months later) plus I had a bunch of early "learning projects" from my first months - all of it spread out across around eight domains or so.
Around 90% of my income was coming from my blogs - and since I had been a poor student for quite a few years before that

, I went full time when my income was still well below what you would get for even a low paid regular half time job here - around $1500 a month or so.

That was back around November 2005. Now I work a lot less and earn a lot more

From 1994 until 2003 I had just a dozen sites, but had been full-time since 1994. Then in January, 2003 I began expanding and haven't stopped.

We started with Adult-Excitement, the members increased by at least 50% every week for 3 months... so I made a couple of other websites, pleasureville & pleasurablefantasy I seriously thought we were going to be millionairres.

But then we had a cpl of idiots knock the way we did business & it seemed to mash up the sales, infact within a cpl of weeks we lost 50% of the members we had, & by then we had lots!

Now were doing ok, but I would have hoped for many many more, considering the quality of our movies, the content we provide (being fresh & always different)... This week alone we filmed a girl girl boy on Monday, a girl solo shoot in Bristol Thursday & today a girl boy shoot in Studland.

Now we have 10 sites of which 8 are content providing.

i think the number of sites someone has is totally irrelevant. some folks make more money with one single site than others with 200. and the circumstances when going full-time differ for each of us. imho the more interesting question would be what does it take to go full-time.
