Skipping the mpg and linking straight to video?

I want to link to videos from a few sponsors movie galleries but i don't want to link to the actual gallery. Is this normally allowed or is it something that i would have to ask each sponsor individually?

You will generally need to get permission, some sponsors provide direct links to videos, for use on tube sites etc, but generally when they provide video galleries, they want you to link direct to the gallery.

I will check with a couple of sponsors, i dont see why it would be a problem as most videos these days are watermarked.
