What is the best way to monetize this domain name?
I have been lurking for quite a while and have built a few simple sites from the information that I have read and learned here.
I purchased the domain name Blog About Sex - Sex Stories and Information off ebay a while ago, but never really did anything with it. I think it's a great name, but I wanted to do something with it besides turn it into a banner link farm or TGP site. I have other adult related domain names that I am doing that with. I was thinking about trying to "rent" space on the site for people to Blog About Sex. Something like www.BlogAboutSex.com/YourSexBlogSiteName. Someone suggested I let people do it for free, but only display MY adsense id (if adsense would even show up on an adult site) or MY affiliate links. You will not be able to monetize it with adsense. You cannot use adsense with adult content.
You could use other banner or text advertising. You could also set it up with erotica and other sex stories. And welcome to Netpond |

Yeah, I kind of figured Adsense would be out. I was looking at other suppliers like AdBrite or I could just get one of the many scripts that let you rent advertising space on your site. I just read about a WP plug in that does this, OIO something.

I would use something like oxado personally, pays better than black label ads in my experience. But either would work.

You could set up like a a Q N A type of blog..like everything you wnated to know about sex but were afraid to ask type thing. Or maybe create dfinitions, and then use sample images to sponsors showing the "position" or technique" etc.
